Replacingthebelt
Ifthebeltbreaks,themessage"ALTERNATOR"isdis-
playedonthemessagescreens.Shutdowntheengine,
removetheignitionkeyandchangethebelt.
Removetheretainingscrews(1)and(2).Usetheadjust-
mentscrew(3)topushthealternatorinwards.
Removethewornbelt.
Installanewbelt.
Adjustthebeltusingthescrew(3).
Retightentheretainingscrews(1)and(2).
Runtheengineforaboutanhourandthencheckthebelt
tensionagain.
