Makersoflargerenginepermittheuseofthiskindoffuel.

However,donotusedieselfuelcontaminatedwithengineoilincustomer'sengines.

Notonlywillthisfueldamagetheengine,itmayalsohaveanegativeimpactontheexhaustgaspuricationfunction.

Beforeusingdieselfuel,conrmwiththesupplierwhetherthefuelcomplieswiththeabovespecications.

ATTENTION:Inordertopreventcondensationduringcoldweather,llthefueltanktofullafterthecompletingthe
day'swork.
Fuelstorage:
Longstoragecanleadtotheaccumulationofimpuritiesandcondensationinthefuel.Enginetroublecanoftenbe
tracedtothepresenceofwaterinthefuel.
Thestoragetankmustbeplacedoutsideandthetemperatureofthefuelshouldbekeptaslowaspossible.Drainoff
waterandimpuritiesregularly.
Biodieselfuel
FattyAcidMethylEsterBiodiesel(BiodieselFuel)consistsofafamilyoffuelsderivedfromvegetableoilstreatedwith
methylesters.
ATTENTION:BiodieselFuelblendsareapprovedforyourengineonlyiftheycomplywithEN14214Specication
StandardsorASTMD6751.
ATTENTION:ItisimperativethatyoucheckwhichblendisapprovedforyourenginewithyourCASECONSTRUC-
TIONDealer.BeawarethattheuseofBiodieselFuelthatdoesnotcomplywiththeStandardsmentionedabove
couldleadtoseveredamagetotheengineandfuelsystemofyourmachine.Theuseoffuelsthatarenotapproved
mayvoidCASECONSTRUCTIONWarrantycoverage.
BiodieselFuelUsageConditions:
ATTENTION:TheBiodieselFuelmustmeetthefuelSpecicationmentionedabove.
BiodieselFuelmustbepurchasedfromatrustedsupplierthatunderstandstheproductandmaintainsgoodfuelqual-
ity.BiodieselFuelmustbepre-blendedbythesupplier.MixingBiodieselFuelson-sitecanresultincorrectmixture
thatcanleadtoproblemswithbothengineandfuelsystem.
EngineperformanceisaffectedbytheuseofBiodieselFuel.Theremaybeupto12%reductioninpowerortorque
dependingontheblendused.
ATTENTION:DONOTmodifytheengineand/orinjectionpumpsettingstorecoverthereducedperformance.
ThereducedpowermustbeacceptedifusinganyBiodieselFuelblend.
