When the alarm becomes active, the instrument gives the following indications:
An internal buzzer sounds.
A visual warning screen is displayed.
The open drain output on the 2.5m output port goes LOW (Max current 500
mA @ 15 VDC).
This ‘Open Drain’ output switch may be used to control external devices such as
audible audio / visual alarm alarms or a relay for the switching of larger loads.

Example external control circuitry
The audible and visual alarm warnings may be cleared by pressing the Accept
soft key on the warning screen. The ‘Open Drain’ output will remain active
whilst the alarm condition is valid.
