CEL-712 Microdust Pro Real-time Dust Monitor
52 Casella Measurement
8.2 Displayed values
Rolling average Represents the rolling average of instantaneous
particulate concentration over a user-selectable time
period from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60 seconds.
Measurement average Represents the accumulated average dust
concentration since a logging Run was started.
Max value Represents the maximum rolling average value
(updated every second) since a data logging Run was
started.
Scrolling graph The graph view provides a real-time trend indication
of the particulate concentration over time.
Use the left / right keys select graph time base
periods of 1, 2, 5 and 15 min.
The Y-axis can be set to a fixed range, or can be auto-
ranging.
Factory calibration The instrument is factory calibrated using a method
traceable back to isokinetic techniques using
ISO 12103-1 A2 Fine test dust (Arizona road dust
equivalent).
Four user-defined dust type settings are available to
suit specific types of particulate or particular
monitoring applications.
Routine calibration The instrument’s software provides a simple
calibration routine for zero and span settings.
The instrument allows confirmation of the factory
calibration point by using an optical Calibration
Insert.
8.3 Data logging
Internal memory 3 MB Non Volatile FLASH memory providing
capacity to store > 86000 data points.
Example capacities Logging every 1 s = 24 hours
Logging every 5 minutes = 301 days
Logging every 15 minutes = 2.4 Years
Logging interval Adjustable from 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 seconds,
1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 to 60 minutes. Data logging
stops after memory is full.
Recorded values Average concentration over the logging interval.
Maximum and average values for the entire logging
period are saved at the end of each logging Run.
