7.2.3 View Window
The View Window allows you to perform several funcons:
- Examine the size and posion of models, relave to the print volume.
- Examine the results of transformaons performed within HeartWare.
- Preview G-Code, as interpreted by HeartWare, for quick vericaon of
accurate printer commands.
- View the progress of the print to compare the delity of the physical print to
the commands listed in G-Code.
Interacon in this window is predominantly performed by holding down the le , right,
or middle mouse buons (MB), which can change funcons with the use of buons on
the Le Tool Bar or the “Ctrl”, Alt”, and “Shi” keys. Many of the same funcons can be
performed with dierent key combinaons.
When “Rotate from the Le Tool Bar is acve:
Le MB – Rotate the camera around the print area, using the center point of
the current view as the axis of rotaon.
When “Move Object” from the Le Tool Bar is acve:
Le MB – Drag a selected object in the XY-plane. You cannot select objects by
clicking the “Le MB”.
Right MB – Click a model to select it, then drag to move the object in the XY-
plane.
Middle MB – Pan the camera le, right, up, and down, using the current view
as the plane of movement.
Holding “Ctrl” and:
Le MB, Right MB, or Middle MB – Rotate the camera around the print area,
using the center point of the current view as the axis of rotaon.
Holding “Shi” and:
Le MB, Right MB, or Middle MB – Pan the camera le, right, up, and down,
using the current view as the plane of movement.
Clicking the Right MB – Select mulple models in the print volume. Click a
model again to deselect it.
Holding “Alt” and:
Le MB – Drag a selected object in the XY-plane. You cannot select objects by
holding “Alt” and clicking the “Le MB”.
Right MB – No funcon.
Middle MB – Pan the camera le, right, up, and down, using the current view
as the plane of movement.
