3. Use the following sequence to ne tune the hight of the printheads:
-Adjust set screw on the right side of printhead 2.
-In the “Ulies Menu”, select “Home printheads”.
-In the “Ulies Menu”, select “Raise printheads”.
-Control if the printheads is completely level. If not, repeat the sequence.
8.2.8 Display ickering or displaying random characters
The issue is most likely electrical interference from the air compressor. To x this, do the
following:
1. Turn o the INKREDIBLE 3D Bioprinter and the air compressor.
2. Disconnect the air compressor from the power outlet.
3. Connect the air compressor to a power outlet running on a dierent fuse.
4. Turn on the INKREDIBLE 3D Bioprinter and connue bioprinng.
8.2.9 Control knob is not responding when pressed
The issue is most likely that the knob was pushed all the way in, so it’s already in the
click”-posion. To correct this, pull the knob gently towards you.
8.2.10 Printhead 1 is missing the probing sensor at the end of the “Home Axes”-
sequence
At the end of the “Home Axes” sequene, the nozzle in PH1 touches the probing sensor
aached to the printbed to calibrate the nozzle length. If the nozzle misses the probing
sensor, then the probing posion must be corrected to connue with the calibraon
process. Follow these steps to nd the probing posion for each axis:
1. Navigate to the “Ulies Menu” and enter by pressing the control knob [8].
2. Select HOME AXES and let the INKREDIBLE 3D Bioprinter carry out the
sequence. If printhead 1 does not trigger the probing sensor, trigger it
manually by hand by pressing the sensor 3 mes when the needle is about
to touch the sensor.
3. Adjust the Z posion of printhead one unl it is right above the probing
sensor by following these steps:
-In the “Ulies Menu”, select “Move Axis” and enter by pressing the
control knob [8].
-Turn the knob to job the Z-axis to posion Z+5.0 (The posion for each axis will
be wrien in the LCD display).
