Calibrations
Fiber Optic Probe
Calibration is not required for the ber optic probe. Enter the GF number as outlined in the “Fiber Optic
Installation” section of this manual. Contact your CEM Representative for questions or concerns.
Pressure Control
Calibration is not required for pressure control. Contact your CEM Representative for questions or concerns.
Temperature Verification (IR Sensors)
The optional AutoCal calibration device is require for temperature verication. Read and fully understand the
AutoCal manual (P/N 600835) before operation.
1. Plug the AutoCal into an electrical outlet close enough to the instrument for it to be placed on the instrument
oor. Program the desired temperature setpoint and permit the calibrator to warm until the “Ready” light is
illuminated.
WARNING
To prevent the possibility of burns, DO NOT touch the heating module or Teon cover surrounding the
heating module.
2. Select the System Menu icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. Select Tools.
4. Select System. The inner and outer IR temperatures will be displayed on the “Status” menu.
5. Ensure that the “Ready” light on the AutoCal is illuminated and place the heating module so it is directly cen-
tered 0.5" (1.27 cm) above the sensor.
