Appendix B: EasyPrep and EasyPrep Plus Vessels
CAUTION
All vessels must contain the exact same amount of reaction components and the total volume must
meet the minimum cavity load; 50 mL with medium microwave absorbing solvents and 20 mL with high
microwave absorbing solvents. Contact CEM Corporation before using any low absorbing solvents. See
“Microwave Solvent Chart” for details.
5. If applicable, assemble the Easy Prep Plus control cover. EasyPrep (non-plus) control covers do not require
assembly.
5.1. Insert the open end of the thermowell into the control cover until it stops.
CAUTION
Do not force thermowell into control cover as it is fragile and may break.
5.2. Slide the nut onto the thermowell and tighten the nut until nger tight.
6. Place the cover on the liner.
7. Carefully slide the liner into the sleeve.
