the
end of the
control
knob and

FUEL
SYSTEM
Fugl
flows
by
gravity from the two
w'ing tanks to
a four-position
selector
ve,lve,
labeled
BoTH,
RIGHT,
LEFT, and oFF.
With
tbe
selector
valve
in
either
the
BOTH,
RIGHT,
or
LEFT
position,
fuel
flows through
a
strainer
to
the
engine-driven
fuel
pumP'
and
from the
purnp
to
the
,
carburetor.
Wben
tbe
auxiliary
fuel
pump
is operating,
it
draws
fuel
from
a
(
tee
located
between
tbe
strainer
and tJre
engine-driven
fuel
pump,
and
'
delivers
it
to
the carburetor.
From
the carburetor,
mixed
fuel and air
flows
to'the
cylinders
through.:ibtake
manifold
tubes. Tbe
manual
prirner
draws
its
fuel,from
the
fuel
strainer

Fuel
system
venting
is essential
to system
operation.-
Complete
blockage
of
the venting
system
will
