SPLITTING TRACTOR BETWEEN ENGINE
AND FRONT TRANSMISSION
Parts which can be inspected during this operation:
• Flywheel
• Main Clutch
• Input Gears
Removal
Drain transmission oil.
FIG. 16: Remove front wheel drive shaft (4wd only).
Support engine on the bottom with a jack or stands.
Support transmission with a jack or a crane so that rear of
tractor can be moved when needed.
FIG. 17: Remove both side covers (RH and LH) engine
and hood.
FIG. 18: Disconnect negative battery cable.
