3. Before disconnecting the leads, run the
engines of the two vehicles for three minutes.
Disconnect Lead
First disconnect lead B (-) and then lead A (+).
To reduce the voltage surge during the
disconnection, please connect the blower and
the electric-heated rear windshield of the vehicle
with the low battery. Please do not turn on the
headlamps in stead of the heated rear windshield,
for the surge voltage may burn and damage the
bulbs.
Breakdown Trailer
The vehicle is equipped with threaded holes for
trailer rings at both the front and the rear. In the
actual use, pry up the decorative cover with a flat
tip screwdriver, and then pick the trailer ring from
the on-vehicle tools and mount it into the threaded
hole for the installation of the trailing cable.
The rear trailer ring is located in the right mid-and-
lower position of the rear bumper. Its mounting is
the same as that of the front trailer ring. During the
trailing, drive the trailer slowly and smoothly to
prevent the trailer and the trailed vehicle from
bouncing. If the pulling force of the trailing cable is
too big, the vehicle may be damaged.
Note: The bolt thread is screwed in
anticlockwise.
During the trailing, the ignition switch of
the trailed vehicle shall be in the “ON” position
so that the steering wheel, the turn lamp and the
brake lamp can all work. Since the engine is
turned off, there is nor the braking or steering
forces, so greater operating force is needed.
Therefore, the braking and steering forces shall
be increased accordingly.
The front trailer ring is located
between the left headlamp and
the left front fog lamp.
