Network Setup
The Base Box has to be setup to connect to any Auxiliary box and/or CT3 controls.
The Chore-Tronics
®
3 control communicates via TCIP addresses and a specific name. The IP address must be in
the same LAN range as the Broadcaster
™
Base box. The name must start with CT3.
Example: CT3HOUSE1 for house 1. If more than 9 CT3 Controls, you will need to drop
the "E" in House (Example CT3Hous10).
The IP of the Chore-Tronics
®
3 will be entered in the Approved Aux list in the Base Broadcaster
™
.The Auxiliary

. The name must be the same on the Auxiliary in also in the Approved Aux list in the
Broadcaster

Base.
LAN Network
1.Determine what the LAN IP range has to be.
•If a router has been installed see what its LAN IP is and use that IP range to set all the other devices con-
nected to the network. If not a good IP range to use would be 192.168.2.xxx. The first three numbers
must be the same and the last numbers must be different to all the connected devices.
Base Box Network Setup
IP Address
1.From the Setup Menu select Network.
2.Select IP Address.
3.Select THIS UNIT from the IP Address Setup.
4.Select YES to edit the Static IP and then press Enter.
5.Use the Number Pad and Arrow Buttons to edit the current IP address. Press Enter to save.
6.The Broadcaster will restart.
DHP EN/DIS
•In most installations the DHP EN/DIS is not used.
Subnet Mask
1.Select Subnet Mask from the list. Edit if needed.
