Setup and Installation
Read this chapter to learn more about the switch setup and installation. This
chapter also includes instructions on how to display the device manager in
standard and in secure modes.
Before You Begin
Make sure that you have met the software and hardware requirements, as
described in the “System Requirements” section on page 1-10. Descriptions of the
hardware features and benefits are in the “Hardware Features” section on
page 1-5.
Follow the setup and installation procedure described in the Getting Started Guide
for the Catalyst Express 500 Switches.
