Procedure
PurposeCommand or Action
Enters global configuration move.switch# configure terminal
Step 1
Configures the dead-time interval. The default value
is 0 minutes. The range is from 1 to 1440 minutes.
switch(config)# radius-server
deadtime

Exits configuration mode.switch(config)# exit
Step 3
(Optional)
Displays the RADIUS server configuration.
switch# show radius-server
Step 4
(Optional)
Copies the running configuration to the startup
configuration.
switch# copy running-config
startup-config

This example shows how to configure a deadtime of 5 minutes for a radius server:
switch# configure terminal
switch(config)# radius-server deadtime 5
switch(config# exit
switch# copy running-config startup-config
