● Keep the control module away from the heater core (or any other heat sources) and any obvious leaks.
● The higher the control module is in the vehicle, the better the remote range will be. Some good
control module locations: Above the glove box, inside the center console, above the under-dash
fuse box, or above the radio.
override switch
Ensure that the location you pick for this switch has sufficient clearance to the rear. The switch should
be well hidden. It should be placed so that passengers or stored items (such as items placed in a
glove box or center console) cannot accidentally bump it. The switch fits in a 9/32-inch hole.
