USING AUDIO STREAMING
The CAD15 is capable of receiving audio streaming and play the audio through your car radio.
There are two input sources, the auxiliary input and Bluetooth audio input, see below for the setup.
While in the audio streaming you can return to the DAB mode and listen to the DAB station by one of
the following:
To listen to the last listened DAB station, you must press and hold MODE to return to DAB
mode and then CAD15 will tune to the last listened DAB station.
To recall a preset DAB station, you must press a X control key directly (where X is from 1 to 4)
to return to the DAB mode and tune to the last listened memory preset in preset group X. If
the preset is empty then CAD15 will tune to the last listened DAB station instead.
To Set the Auxiliary Input mode
The auxiliary input mode is setup to play audio device such as MP3 or iPod
®
etc.
1. Press and hold MODE to switch to audio streaming screen and start listening to the audio when
an audio device is connected to the input audio jack.
2. The play control is operated from your audio device.
To Set the Bluetooth Audio Input mode
The Bluetooth audio input mode is setup to play audio from your mobile device (Smartphone or
Tablets) using the Bluetooth technology, you must enable CAD15’s Bluetooth function,
and then perform the Bluetooth device paring between CAD15 and your mobile device, if they
are not already paired, before the connection is made. For detail, please refer to the menu
setting sections for To Turn Bluetooth On/Off, To Start Bluetooth Paring, and To Reset
Bluetooth Pairing.
1. Press and hold MODE to switch to audio streaming screen and start listening to the audio if a
mobile device is connected to CAD15 using Bluetooth.
2. Rotate the Rotary Knob clockwise to advance the play to the next song in the list.
3. Rotate the Rotary Knob counterclockwise to return the play to the previous song in the list.
4. Press the Rotary Knob to toggle the play/pause control.
5. The play control can also be operated from your mobile device.
The auxiliary Input mode takes precedence over the Bluetooth audio input mode if both are
setup for audio streaming. Therefore, once the auxiliary cable has been plugged into the aux in jack,
you can only listen to audio from the auxiliary input even if the Bluetooth audio input is also setup.
