Operating instructions
Note:
• Theair conditioner should be placed on afirm, level surface capable of supporting
its weight.
• Make sure to keep at least 30 cm of free space around theair conditioner.
• Thewheels are fitted to facilitate movement over flat surfaces. Nevertry to roll
theair conditioner over uneven or soft surfaces.
• If theair conditioner should be shut off inadvertentlye.g. by apower cut, it will
restart automatically with thesame settings it had before thepower cut when
thepower comes backon.
• Theremote control has an8-metrerange. Pointtheremote directly at theair
conditioner making sure that there is no furniture or other objects obstructing
thesignals from reaching theair conditioner.
• Thesignals from theremote can be blocked if theIR sensor on theair conditioner
is exposed to strong sunlight.
• Do not expose theremote control to strong sunlight, impacts, shocks or wetting.
Changing theunits of temperature, °C or °F
Remote control
Hold in [ ▲TEMP▼ ] to switch betweenunits.
Main unit
Hold in [ + ] and [ - ] simultaneously to switch betweenunits.
TheCool, Dry and Fan Modes
• TheCool, Dry and Fan modes can be controlled both from the main unit and using
theremote control. Theinstructions below explain how themodes are controlled
from themainunit. Insome of themodes, thefan speed can only be set using
theremote control (see below).
• If you wish to use theremote control: Press [ MODE ] on theremote control and set
thetemperature with [ ▲TEMP▼ ].
Air Conditioner Mode (Cool)
1. Plug themains lead into awall socket.
2. Switch theair conditioneron.
3. Press [ MODE ] until the “Cool” indicator lightsup.
4. Press [ + ]/[ - ] to set thedesired temperature, 17–30 °C (62–86 °F). Thedisplay
shows theset temperature.
Note: Thefan speed cannot be set using thecontrol panel on themainunit.
Setthedesired fan speed using theremote control.
