If theair conditioner is not to be used for alongtime
1. Unscrew thecover over thedrain hole (4), pull therubber plug out of thedrain
hole and connect theincluded drain hose (11). Movetheair conditioner close to
asuitable drain and unscrew thecover over thelower drain hole (8). Makesure
that all water runsout.
2. Turn on thefan (FAN mode) in order to dry theinternal parts of theair conditioner
and hinder mould growth. Letthefan run for about 6hours.
3. Turn off theair conditioner and unplug it from thewall socket.
4. Remove thebatteries from theremote control.
5. Clean theair filter and refitit.
6. Remove thehose from theupper drain outlet.
7. Screw thecovers over thedrain holes backon.
Troubleshootingguide
Theair conditioner
will notstart.
• Is it plugged into awall socket?
• Is thewall socketlive?
• Does error code “P1” appear on thedisplay? Ifthis is
thecase remove thelower drain cover (8). Makesure that
all water drainsout.
• Theroom temperature is lower than theset temperature.
Adjust thetemperature using [ ▲TEMP▼ ].
Insufficient cooling. • Open windows or doors are allowing warm airin. Closeall
windows anddoors.
• There are other sources of heat present in theroom.
Turntheseoff.
• Theexhaust hose is not attached. Seethe Connecting
theexhaust hose section.
• Thetemperature is set toohigh. Reduce thetemperature.
• Theair filter is clogged. SeetheCare and maintenance –
Cleaning thefilter sectionabove.
Noise and
vibrationsoccur.
Make sure that theair conditioner is placed on asteady,
evenand level surface.
Agurgling sound
isheard.
This can often be explained by themovement of thecoolant
in theair conditioner. Thisis completely normal.
Error code E1 Thetemperature control sensor is out of service. Turnoff
theair conditioner, pull out theplug and plug it inagain. Ifthis
does not solve theproblem and theerror code appears
again, contact aqualified service technician.
