Safety
• Theproduct may be used by children of 8 years and above and by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and
knowledge provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of theproduct in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without adult
supervision.
• Persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of
experience and knowledge means that they cannot use theproduct in asafe way
must not use it without supervision or instruction.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• If themains lead is damaged in any way it must be replaced by aqualified
electrician.
• Theproduct must only be plugged into to anearthed 230 V, 50 Hz power outlet.
Thepower outlet used must be equipped either with acountdown timer or 30mA
residual current device (RCD).
• Do not place theproduct where there is arisk of it falling into water or other liquid.
Iftheproduct should fall into water or other liquid, unplug themains lead from
thewall socket immediately.
• Never use theproduct where flammable liquids or gases are stored.
• Never connect theproduct to awall socket via anextensionlead.
• All repairs must be carried out by qualified technicians using genuine
spareparts.
• If theproduct should tip over, turn it off and unplug it immediately.
• Theproduct should never be used if it is in any way damaged or malfunctioning.
• Unplug themains lead from thewall socket if there is athunderstorm.
• Never run its mains lead around sharp edges/corners or in such away where its
lead risks being pinched or damaged in some other fashion. Always run thelead
away from any footpath traffic to avoid any one from tripping overit.
• Never place any objects containing liquid, such as flower vases or drinks, on top of
theproduct.
