• Always transport theproduct in theupright position and ensure that it is always
placed on astable, level surface.
• Make sure to keep at least 30cm of free space around theproduct.
• Never handle theproduct with wet hands or while barefoot.
• Always use theon/off button on thecontrol panel to turn theproduct on
oroff. Neversimply switch theproduct on or off by plugging it into or
unplugging it from thewall socket.
• Never cover theair inlet and/or outlet.
• Switch off and unplug theproduct when it is not inuse.
• Protect theproduct from sharp objects. Onlyuse your fingers to operate
thecontrols, never any other implements.
• Never try to open thehousing, modify or alter theproduct in anyway.
• Theproduct must only be used as described in this instruction manual.
Theremote control
Theincluded remote control is auniversal type which is used for several different
models. Thismodel of air conditioner and theincluded remote control differ from other
types in thefollowing twoways:
1. Theremote control has an “Auto” mode which themain unit does nothave.
If“Auto” is selected using theremote control, themain unit will be set to “Cool”
mode but without theoption of selecting thefanspeed.
2. Theremote control has 3 settings for thefanspeed: Low, high and “Auto”.
The“Auto” fan speed setting does not work with this model of air conditioner.
Thereare in effect only 2 fan speed settings, low andhigh.
