7.3 Ignition Burner Assembly
CAUTION: Do not kink or tightly bend the pilot gas pipe or thermocouple (where fitted).
There are two options to the pilot burners used for the complete range of heaters.
These are shown below in Fig 7.2. However a different pilot injector is used for natural gas and L.P.G.
The pilot burner for use on natural gas is fitted with an injector marked 34.
The pilot burner for use on L.P.G. is fitted with an injector marked 19.
The difference between manual and automatic ignition is:
Manual Ignition heaters are controlled with a thermocouple .
Automatic ignition are controlled with a flame probe.
