To refit a thermostat, first carefully straighten the capillary tube, it is important not to kink or crack
it. Proceed to replace by reversing the above procedure ensuring that the sensing bulb at the end of the
capillary tube is positioned against the base of the heat exchanger towards the centre of the fan outlet.
(Where there are two fans the position of the sensing bulb should be towards the centre of the fan on
the opposite side of the heater from the controls).
Secure the capillary tube re -using the metal bracket from the original one.
