Symphony BF Basic user – Web interface
1.4/0222 15
Pre-recorded audio can be used for the following states:
Outgoing Call: Outgoing call from the Symphony BF device. The audio file can be configured e.g.
as calm down message at call initiation or as individual call tone for the call initiator.
Incoming Call: Incoming call to Symphony BF device. The audio file can be configured as individ-
ual calling signal (and/or pre-recorded audio).
Error: Error in establishing a call (e.g. call destination cannot be reached).
Location Message: The called SIP device (e.g. mobile phone) receives a location message as in-
formation, from which SIP device the call is coming from.
Sequence Audio: The pre-recorded audio can be used when the action “Play” and/or the action
“Multicast” is carried out in a sequence. It is possible to upload several pre-recorded audio files.
Add pre-recorded audio
Import pre-recorded audio: In the desired line, click on the button Add file, select the desired
audio file, and click on the button Upload.
Export pre-recorded audio: Click on the export button to save the audio file (OGG format) on
the connected computer.
Indication of the file length
If the desired audio files are loaded into the memory of the Symphony BF device, the total length of all
loaded files will be displayed in the loading bar:
ATTENTION:
One single WAV file may not exceed the file size of 2 MB!
ATTENTION: Double usage of device status
Parallel use of the following device state triggers: “Outgoing Call” / “Incoming Call” and pre-
recorded audio states: “Outgoing Call” / “Incoming Call” will cause sequences to overlap, leading
to a connection error.
NOTE: Audio files
Uploading, recording and saving the audio file can take some seconds:
Loading time = 2 x file length (e.g. file with 10 seconds: loading time = 2 x 10 = 20 seconds)
All audio files together must not exceed the max. length of 60 seconds (see page 14).
Audio files names have to be entered including the file ending (e.g. <file_name>.wav).
Exported WAV files have to be saved in OGG format.
Use the original (e.g. .WAV) files for reimport. Reusage of exported and converted OGG files may
cause quality loss.
NOTE: Loading several audio files into memory
Load several pre-recorded audio files into the memory of the station by adding and uploading them
one by one. Complete the following steps for every audio file before moving on to the next audio file:
1. Click on the button Add file.
