Installing ROM Upgrade
A ROM chip Upgrade can enhance the functionality of the Amiga CD^ System.
Before You Begin
When removing and replacing the ROM chip:
• Tum off the power on your System.
• Disconnect all extemal cables from your System unit.
• Remove the System unit cover, as explained in Chapter 2.
• Remove the motherboard from the shield case, as explained in Chapter 2.
• Follow the instructions in this chapter to install ROM Upgrade Option.
Installing the ROM Upgrade
When replacing the ROM chip:
1. Locate the chip on the motherboard, as illustrated in Figure 3*1.
