• Setting Screen Interlace Mode
Interlaced is a term used to describe a video display that
scans first the even-numbered lines and
then
the
odd-
numbered lines to achieve a higher-resolution (i.e.,
sharper) video image (this is how a TV display works). An
interlaced display may flicker when used with some
monitors. This feature allows you to
turn
interlacing on or
off as desired.
Click
the
left mouse button or press the A button on the
remote control to switch from non-interlaced to
interlaced screen mode. (This setting affects CDTV
applications only.)
• Setting Native Language
Use the cursor keys to scroll the various language choices
into view. The setting affects only CDTV applications that
have a language option for their displays.
The settings you choose are saved in memory when you turn
your system
off.
If you do
not
make any selections, the
CDTV/P will automatically default to U.S settings and return
to
the
CDTV logo screen. If you can click the right mouse
button or the B button on the remote control to exit the CDTV
Preferences screen and return to the CDTV logo screen.
