CS:IP
is OOOO:lOOH,
exe2bin
assumes
that
the
file will
run
as a
.com
file with
the
location
pointer
set
at lOOH
by
the
assembler statement ORG
(the
first lOOH bytes
of
the
file
are
deleted). No segment fixups
are
allowed, since
.com
files
must
be
segment relocatable; that
is,
they
must
assume
the
entry
conditions explained in
the
Microsoft Macro Assembler manu-
als
(User's Guide and Reference Manual).
Once
the
conversion
is complete, you may
rename
the
output
file
with
a .
com
extension.
The
command
processor
will
then
be
able
to
load
and
execute
the program in
the
same way as
the.
com
pro-
grams supplied
on
your
MS·
DOS disk.
