3.2 Installing 6pak Adapter Plates and Pigtails
Wall-mount boxes with a termination function have mounting slots for 6pak adapter plates. The
6pak adapter plates may be any of several types including:
• Simplex or duplex with adapters only
• Blank plates for filling in unused slots
• Simplex or duplex with adapters and attached pi
gtails
Use the following procedure to install
adapter plates.
1. If the 6pak plate has attached pigtails, thread
the pigtails through the empty mounting slot
and loop the pigtails around the radius limiters in the chassis, as shown in Figure 13 below.
