Temperature start-up protection
The screw compressor unit will not start up if the
ambient temperature is lower than + 1 °C (33.8 °F).
7.2 Putting a decommissioned
compressor back into operation
Before commissioning the compressor all the electrical
and electronic components and units should be
checked for the ingress of water or condensation
If the electronic control system was removed during
shut down, it must be re-installed.
Then proceed as described in chapter 7.1 'First
commissioning'.
Note
For L90RS-L132RS only: If the compressor has been in
storage for a substantial period of time (up to 2 years),
the main switch must be switched on (ON) for at least
one (1) hour prior to it being started. This ensures the
operability of the capacitors and prevents any damage
from occurring.
If the compressor has been in storage for longer than
2 years, please contact an authorised CompAir dealer
prior to start-up.
