Cable Lock Provision Inhibits access to the interior of

access to the interior of the
workstation; add a cable lock to
secure the workstation to a
fixed object.
IMPORTANT:
Always set different passwords for the various types of passwords like the Power-On
Password, the Setup Password, and the Windows NT password.
Setup Password
The Setup Password prevents unauthorized changes to the configuration of the workstation.
Establishing a Setup Password
1. Turn on the workstation.
2. When the
F10 = Setup
message appears in the lower-right corner of the screen, press
F10.
NOTE:
You have approximately 30 seconds to press
F10.
If you do not press
F10
while the message is
displayed, you must restart the workstation again to access the utility.
3. From the main menu, select Security
,
then select Setup Password
,
and follow the
instructions on the screen.
4. Save the configuration and exit the utility.
5. Restart the workstation.
