Power Switch
CAUTION:
The power switch should not be removed from the switch holder. Doing so may
damage the switch components.
To remove the power switch and switch holder (166925-001):
1. Perform the steps in the “Service Preparations” section as previously shown.
CAUTION:
Before removing the workstation access panel, ensure that the workstation is
turned off, all cables are disconnected from the back of the workstation, and the power cord is
disconnected from the grounded AC outlet.
2. Remove the workstation access panel.
3. Disconnect the power/LED cable from the system board 1.
4. Push the release tab toward the drive bays 2, and then remove the power switch from the
chassis 3.

To reinstall the power switch, reverse the above procedure, pushing the power switch until it
snaps into place.
