6-5 CONNECTING OR REPLACING THE BATTERY
If the machine does not have
the strength to start, check the battery
voltage as follows:
1 Ignition switch.
Set the switch in position "off"
2 Screw
3 Battery
4 Battery cover.
Remove the screw and pull the battery
cap.
5 Negative Terminal ( - ) of the battery
6 PositivaTerminal ( + ) of the battery
7 Voltmeter.
If the battery voltage is less than
12.4 volts, recharge the battery as
instructed by the battery charger
To replace the battery do the
following:
Disconnect the battery cables,
negative cable first.
8 Battery holder.
Remove the battery holder.
Install the new battery and secure
with fastener. When connecting the
battery, connect the negative cable to
the last
reinstall the battery cover on the
chassis of the machine.
