Servicing Procedure:
Servicing the CO
2
Solenoid
The instruction below demonstrates how to service the CO
2
solenoid. Suitably
qualified electrical personnel should only carry out this procedure.
Schedule of servicing:
As and when needed. Routine scheduled maintenance.
Safety requirement:
1. Ensure that the cabinet’s power cord is unplugged from the power source
before attempting to remove and service or replace the solenoid.
2. Ensure that the CO
2
supply is turned off.
Servicing Procedure:
1. Ensure the safety requirements are in place.
2. Completely remove the top
cabinet lid by turning the 2 black
plastic fastener anti-clockwise
until it pops up & unplug the earth
wire connected to the lid.
WARNING: Ensure the cabinet is
unplugged from the main supply!
2. Locate the CO
2
solenoid.
a. Disconnect the wires in the connector block.
b. Disconnect the hoses from the CO
2
solenoid in and out hose tail.
c. Unscrew the CO
2
mounting bracket from the cabinet.
d. Unscrew the CO
2
from its mounting bracket.
WARNING: Ensure the cabinet is unplugged from the main supply!
WARNING: Ensure the cabinet CO
2
supply is turned off!
