Servicing Procedure:
Replacing the Motor Seal & Fan Motor
The instruction below demonstrates how to replace the motor seal. Suitably
qualified electrical personnel should only carry out this procedure.
Schedule of servicing:
As and when needed.
Safety requirement:
Ensure that the cabinet’s power cord is unplugged from the power source
before attempting to remove and replace the motor seal.
Servicing Procedure:
1. Ensure the safety requirements are in place.
2. Open the cabinet chamber &
glass door. Remove the element
cover to expose the element,
scroll and sensors.
3. Remove the scroll to expose the
rotor. Unscrew the left-hand rotor
nut to remove the rotor. Remove
from the motor shaft end, the flat
washer and circlip.
WARNING: Ensure the cabinet is
unplugged from the main supply!
