The output on terminal 16 is capable of sinking up to 100mA maximum and
can withstand external voltages of 30 Volts. Reverse polarity and inductive
load protection is provided.
Two connection examples are provided. If a voltage pulse output is required,
an external load resistor must be used as shown on the second diagram.
The pulse output can be programmed during Set-up as an energy or
volumetric flow output. The pulse rate is also programmable, so that a
pulse can, for example, be programmed to occur every .001m

.
Hence, in the above example, if the volumetric flow rate was 60m
3
/hour, then
this is equivalent to 0.0167m
3
/sec. If a pulse occurs every 0.001m
3
then the
output frequency would be 16.7Hz.
Duration of the pulse is programmable as 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 or 500ms
and determines the maximum pulse output frequency:
