Life threatening
Danger of explosion by gas smell
Immediately shut off the gas supply
Thoroughly ventilate the room
Avoid sparks (i.e. the use of
switches, telephones or using
electrical switch elements) or open
flames
Inform the gas supplier or the fire
department (external telephone).
Electrical shock
Before opening the side panel and
performing repairs and/or
maintenance work (only by an
electrician), shut off the main
power supply on site to the combi
steamer!
An all-pole isolation switch with a
minimum contact opening of 3mm
must be located close to the unit so
that the unit power supply can be
shut off for outer cleaning, repairs or
installation work and longer intervals
between operation.
Danger of injury!
Installation
Do not place the combi steamer near
cooking units such as fryers or units
baking with grease etc.. There is a
high risk of burns for the user when
water sprays in hot grease.
A safety distance must be maintained
from grease holders or fryers (the
working radius of the hand shower).
Kitchen logistic
Do not use or store any flammable
gases or liquids near the unit. These
substances can self ignite due to the
heat coming off of the unit and thereby
endanger people and the product.
Maintenance
In order to ensure that the
CONVOTHERM combi steamer is
technically problem free, at least
once a year a thorough
maintenance should be performed
by an trained service specialist.
Maintenance should only be
performed on a cold combi steamer!
Do not spray into a hot oven with
the hand shower! Allow combi
steamer oven to cool down to under
60°C
Possible product or building
damage!
Decalcification
only by Service personnel
Never operate combi steamer with
decalcifyer in it. Decalcification can
only be performed in a cold unit.
Remove residual decalcifyer liquid
thoroughly with a lot of water.
Wear suitable protective gear such
as gloves and protective glasses.
Observe the safety advice on the
labels, as well as the safety
information pages on the
decalcifyer!
General advice
Observe the current standards and
regulations.

Manual for the user.
