f. Spray the water into the Working Air channels, see figure 3 for location, allowing the water to run down
the channels, through perforations in the channels, into the wet channels and out to the drain pan.
Cannot see into these channels but by simply spraying into these channels the water will rinse them out.
2. Inspect and clean the fan and other components.
3. Soap Buildup
a. Soap buildup is generally caused by turning the power on without having adequate water delivered at
the same time. Often this happens at initial startup where the electrical is turned on and off several
times without having the plumbing connected or the water turned on. Then the unit is left standing for
several days or longer and the soap dries causing a soap clog in the HMX header and can be cleaned by:
b. Fill syringe with white vinegar
c. Remove the tubes from the HMX by pulling directly away from the HMX.
d. Attached syringe to an HMX tube; Syringe, 50 ml, Luer Lock, see figure 5.
e. Quickly push in and pull out on the syringe rod pulling header blocking particles out of the HMX header.
Hold the push rod of the syringe lower than the inlet or tube end allowing heavy particles to collect in
the syringe. Note that the longer the tube the longer the syringe strokes must be to remove the
particles from the header. Repeat for each HMX header.
f. Reconnect tubing.
