9-2-2 Types and functions of filters
Neosense Filter 8″ (S)
- Filter function: Removes fine rust particles, suspended materials, residual chlorine, volatile organic
compounts (VOCs), pesticides, and carcinogens from water.
- Filter materials: Polyethylene + granulated activated carbon
- Water purifying capacity: Reduction in water flow rate less than 20% (based on water turbidity of
1 NTU)/elimination of residual chlorine more than 80% (based on
residual chlorine 2ppm) - same water purifying standard as JIS S 3201.
Membrane Filter 8″ (S)
- Filter function: Removes organic/inorganic ionic materials, germs, viruses, and heavy metals
in water.
- Filter materials: Polyfulfone + Ployamide
- Water pufirying capacity (based on tap water TDS 100 ppm):
Reduction in water flow rate 20 - 30% (based on the basic membrane capacity specification)/
TDS removal 90-3%(Pump Free Mem.)
Fine Post carbon block Filter 8″ (S)
- Filter function: Improves water taste, eliminates odor, and minimizes fine particles coming from the
Post Carbor filter, minimizing fine particles in water tanks.
- Filter materials: Polyethylene + Powered activated carbon
- Water purifying capacity (based on tap water TDS of 100ppm):
Elimination of residual chlorine more than 80% (based on residual chlorine 2ppm) - same water
purifying standard as JIS S 3201:
The status of fine particles when water flow rate is reduced
and residue upon evaporation is generated (when the water flows through the Post Carbon filter
continuously).
Ceramic Filter
- Material: Topcera antibacterial ceramic
- Characteristics: Suppresses proliferation of micro organisms in the water tank, enhancing the
hygiene and water taste.
