How to fix yellow burner flame in COZY Wall Furnaces?
    • T
      Troy ZhangSep 8, 2025
A yellow burner flame can be caused by clogged burner ports. Remove the main burner and check for obstructions in the throat, ports, and orifices. Clean them, but do not enlarge the ports or orifices. Another cause could be obstructions around the vent cap. Ensure the area around the vent cap is clear and that the vent system is sealed.

Why do my COZY DVCF40 Wall Furnaces pilot and main burner go out during normal operation?
    • N
      Natasha FritzSep 7, 2025
This issue can occur due to several reasons. A weak thermocouple might be the cause; check the millivoltage and replace the thermocouple if it is low. The input might be too high, so check the input rate. Ensure the cover around the pilot lighter hole is airtight by tightening the wing nuts securing the cover and sight glass, and replace the gasket if needed. Also, improperly installed or sealed vent tubes can cause this; follow the instructions to check both exhaust and air intake tubes and the vent cap, ensuring all gaskets are in place and properly sealed, and use only the tubes and vent cap supplied, without altering them.

      Audrey GarciaAug 22, 2025
First, ensure all manual gas valves are open. Next, check that the thermostat is set high enough to call for heat by setting the thermostat to a higher temperature. Also, inspect the burner orifice for clogs and clean it, being careful not to enlarge it. Finally, verify the thermostat wiring and replace the thermostat if it's defective.

Why COZY Wall Furnaces is not producing enough heat?
    • M
      Marissa WallaceSep 4, 2025
Several factors can cause insufficient heat. The furnace might be undersized, especially if the room or dwelling has been enlarged. Have the heat loss calculated and compare it to the furnace output. Your gas company can provide this information. If the furnace is undersized, replace it with a correctly sized unit. Also, ensure the thermostat isn't set too low; raise the temperature setting. Finally, incorrect supply pressure can be a factor; check the supply pressure.

    • M
      Michael Barton PhDAug 30, 2025
If your COZY Wall Furnaces burner won’t turn off, it could be due to several reasons: 1. A defective or damaged thermostat wire or the thermostat itself. You can check this by removing the wire from the valve terminal; if the valve turns off, replace the wire or thermostat. 2.
