Click for TRUMA Combi D6 Hot Water System with Heater User Manual
The C16 is fitted with a Truma Combi D6 as follows. It is a warm air heater with integrated hot
water system (10 litre volume). For information on the correct operation of this Hot Water
System (HWS) please refer to the respective Truma Owner’s Manuals provided.
The heater requires diesel fuel, as per the Australian Fuel Standard (Automotive Diesel).
Operation with any form of biodiesel is not permitted. When operational, the fuel display in
the fuel tank must not be allowed to drop the to the “low fuel” mark.
In heating and hot water mode the heater can be used to heat the room and heat water at
the same time. If only hot water is required, select hot water mode. In this mode the water is
heated at the lowest burner setting and burner will switch off when set water temperature is
reached.
Please carefully read the below warnings and safety instructions:
If the vehicle is parked in closed rooms:
o Shut off the fuel supply (gas or diesel) to the heater.
o Switch off the Truma CP plus control panel
Never use heater when refuelling, in multistorey or enclosed car parks, in garages or
on ferries. The heater's exhaust can be toxic in enclosed spaces (e.g., garages,
workshops).
Do not spray water directly into the wall cowl when cleaning.
In the event of a leak in the heater, fuel supply or exhaust duct: switch off heater, open
doors and window and ask an expert to inspect the system.
The unit can only be operated outdoors to ensure dissipation of exhaust gases.
Keep areas around the appliance, the air inlets, and the vents free of obstruction.
Keep the cowl for the exhaust duct and combustion air intake free of contamination.
Area around the wall cowl may be hot, avoid touching or leaning objects against this
area.
Do not operate near flammable vapours.
The exhaust system must be inspected by a qualified technician at regular intervals not
exceeding two years.
To avoid frost damage, the hot water system must be drained via the drain valve, even
if it was not operated.
To drain the hot water system
Switch off the power for the water pump
Open the hot water taps in kitchen and bathroom
Open the drain valve: Lever in vertical position (c).
