29. JACKING THE CARAVAN

WARNING: WHEN USING A JACK ensure that:

• the area is safe,

• there is no-one under the trailer,

• the opposite wheel is securely chocked.

If possible, keep the trailer attached to the Tow Vehicle.

• The jack is located under the passenger side lounge seat base

• Position the jack beneath the suspension arm as pictured below

For the front nosecone, sidewalls, roof, and rear fiberglass panels:

1. Wash the surface with a mild detergent. For optimum results, use a cleaner recommended

for fibreglass composite and follow directions.

2. Do not use automatic dishwashing detergent, abrasives, bleaches, acid-based chemicals,

or ammonia.

3. Wax at least bi-annually to restore gloss and protect your surface finish. Use only wax

recommended for fibreglass composite and follow instructions carefully. Never wax your

gelcoat surface in direct sunlight.
