Replacing the Nozzle Kit of the Extruder Module
If the nozzle is used for a long time, the lifecycle of the nozzle is limited by the cracking of the nozzle due to the
continuous printing, the carbonization of the filament that remains inside, and the foreign substances. Therefore, if
problems such as the failure to discharge and the severe crack in the filament occur due to the occurrence of the
problem in the nozzle, the nozzle unit needs to be replaced for the maintenance.
Especially, if the problem doesn’t get solved by the items that are stated in the ‘Extruder(Management)’ section
above, it is better to solve the problem by replacing the nozzle kit.
① Remove the nozzle kit by turning
it counterclockwise by using an
8mm box wrench.
If it is removed with an excessive
force, there is a risk of damaging
the part.
If the nozzle kit is removed at a
high temperature, it can be easily
executed.
② After fixing a new nozzle by
turning it with a hand, fasten the
nozzle by turning it clockwise using
an 8mm box wrench.
* Be cautious not to get injured by the nozzle that is at a high temperature when replacing
the nozzle kit.
* If there is any difficulty in replacing the nozzle kit or there is a risk of damaging the
Extruder, please request a service to our designated service center.
