WHAT DO I DO IF: ANSWERS
The appliance gives o smoke the rst time I use it? It's normal for the appliance to give o
a little smoke when it is used for the rst
time. Clean the appliance with a damp
cloth before turning it on.
The appliance turns itself o? Check that the thermostats are not turned
to the ‘OFF’ position and that the appliance
is plugged in correctly.
It is possible that the appliance has
overheated . Unplug the appliance and
allow it to cool for at least 15 minutes. Turn
it on as usual and start cooking again.
What if the food isn't cooking? Check that the plug is plugged in properly
and that the thermostats are properly lit.
Also make sure you allow the appliance to
heat up before placing food on the plates.

Wait until the appliance has cooled down
completely and then wipe o with a hot
damp cloth. Never immerse the base of the
appliance in water.

cooking?
Avoid using too much grease when
cooking. Fat makes it easier for smoke to be
given o. Use a brush to grease dry food.
