If the number of ashes is displayed as “--”, the maximum num-
ber of ashes will be as shown in the following table regardless
of the ash frequency.
Wireless Flash Shooting:
Radio (2.4G) Transmission
• When the camera’s shooting mode is set to a fully auto-
matic mode or an Image Zone mode, the operations in
this chapter are not available. Set the camera’s shooting
mode to P/Tv/Av/M/B (Creative Zone Mode).
• The CUlight FR 60C attach to the camera is called the
master unit, and a CUlight FR 60C that is wirelessly
controlled is called the slave unit.
• You can also wirelessly control the CUlight FR 60C set
as the slave unit with the transmitter CUlight RT 500C
(sold separately). For details on setting the master unit
functions, see the transmitter’s instructions.
Using a ash (master/slave) with a radio transmission wireless
shooting function make it easy to shoot with advanced wireless
multiple ash lighting, in the same way as E-TTL II autoash
shooting.
The basic relative position and operation range are as shown in
the picture. You can then perform wireless E-TTL II autoash
shooting just by setting the master unit to <ETTL>.
