Step 3: Test the Connection
You use the Cummins Communication Validation Tool to test the connection
between the INLINE™ 7 and the vehicle. At startup, the Communication Valida-
tion Tool checks for any INLINE™ 7 drivers
installed on the PC.
To test the connection between the INLINE™ 7 and the vehicle:
1 Click Start and then select All Programs


2 Use the
button in the Driver box to select the appropriate driver (i.e.,
INLINE7 - CIL7R32).
3 Use the
button in the Device box to select the appropriate device (for
example, INLINE7, Bluetooth).
