Efforts have been made to keep the user operational experience very similar between legacy and
new units. As a result, minimal CLI command changes have been incorporated. These are limited
to the following commands:
• ibit:
• additional output
• verify security settings
• ntpdate:
• incorporate chronyc
• pcap:
• improved performance
• filtering disabled to achieve performance
Additional CLI changes, not confined to a single command, are as follows:
• The user will have the option to disable secondary user authentication in the DTS1+. This
removes the need to have an external cryptographic computer for performing key unwrap and
hash operations.
• Hardware encryption key length requirements have changed. As a result a RMC that has
previously applied HWFDE will need to be decrypted using the existing / current PSK before it
can be migrated for use with a DTS1+ unit.
