GND Information
Note1) GPIO implemented using TI TCA9539 GPIO chip. 5V Tolerant I/O Ports. See TI datasheet.
Note2) REMOTE_OFF#, tie this pin to 28V_RTN_IN to activate off function.
Note3) Not Connected
Note4) GND signals are actually all the same signal, but for purposes of cable building, use the
recommended ground function to make cable wiring a little less complicated. Not all cables require a
ground wire, CANBUS, RS485, and RS422 for examples.
J4 Configurable I/O Connector
J4 contains up to 55x configurable IO pins. The J4 connector may be changed to any insert configuration
available for the 801 (2M801) series, shell 16 connector by either Glenair (Amphenol) or compatible
alternative. See the manufacturer’s product information for additional insert arrangements and contact
options. The default insert arrangement is the 16-55 (55 #23 sockets). The configurable IO pins do not
contain any ESD protection unless provided by the add-on card or custom cable.
Caution! ESD Sensitive Components
Follow standard ESD and FOD controls to avoid damage to the internal components.
