4. To initiate RF treatment, press and hold the RF handpiece on/off button until the system
emits an audible tone, and then release the button. The button illuminates blue to indicate
that RF energy is being delivered.
5. Continue holding the RF handpiece on the treatment area until the selected pulse duration
has elapsed.
6. Lift the RF handpiece, dry the skin with gauze, and gently dab (do not wipe) the electrode
with a cotton ball or gauze to ensure that it is fully dry.
CAUTION
If the patient reports discomfort or heat in the return pad area,
pause the treatment and verify that the return pad is properly
adhered to the skin. The pad must be in complete contact with
the skin, with no creases or bubbles.
CAUTION
Do not relocate the pad after initial application. Do not reuse
the pad. Do not use damaged pads. If the return pad becomes
loose or needs to be moved, replace with a new pad.
CAUTION
Do not tilt, prop, or move the handpiece during RF treatment.
NOTE
To interrupt treatment before the pulse duration has elapsed,
press and release the RF handpiece on/off button.
CAUTION
To help reduce the risk of adverse events, ensure that the
treatment area is dry and that the electrode is in full contact
with the skin prior to each imprint.
