Try moving the exercise equipment a few inches away from the source of interference, or vice versa, until the heart rate readings become accurate.

      An erratic or absent heart rate reading on your CYBEX Exercise Bike can occur for several reasons: * The belt transmitter electrodes may not be wet enough. Wet the belt transmitter electrodes. * The belt transmitter electrodes may not be laying flat against the skin. Ensure the belt transmitter electrodes are laying flat against the skin. * The belt transmitter may need cleaning. Wash the belt transmitter with mild soap and water. * The belt transmitter may not be properly set up. Setup of the belt transmitter is accomplished by initially bringing it within 1 foot of the receiver, located in the console. After the heart rate is displayed on the console, the range is extended to 3 feet. * The chest strap battery might be depleted. Contact Customer Support Services for instruction...
