Configuring via Web-based Interface
System
In this menu you can do the following:
• change the password used to access the extender's settings
• restore the factory default settings
• create a backup of the extender's configuration
• restore the extender's configuration from a previously saved file
• save the current settings to the non-volatile memory
• reboot the extender
• change the web-based interface language
• update the firmware of the extender
• configure automatic notification on new firmware version
• enable/disable Wi-Fi connection and configure automatic reboot of the device on a schedule,
and set a schedule for different filter rules
• view the system log; configure sending the system log to a remote host
• check availability of a host on the Internet through the web-based interface of the extender
• trace the route to a host
• allow or forbid access to the extender via TELNET and SSH
• configure automatic synchronization of the system time or manually configure the date and
time for the extender
• enable the Auto Provision function.
