Dynamic IPv6 Addresses
Mode of dynamic IPv6
address assignment
For the Router and WISP Repeater modes only.
Select the needed value from the drop-down list.
• Disable: clients' IPv6 addresses are assigned manually.
• Stateful: the built-in DHCPv6 server of the access point
allocates addresses from the range specified in the Start
IPv6 and End IPv6 fields.
• Stateless: clients themselves configure IPv6 addresses
using the prefix.
Start IPv6
The start IPv6 address of the address pool used by the DHCPv6
server to distribute addresses to clients.
End IPv6
The end IPv6 address of the address pool used by the DHCPv6
server to distribute addresses to clients.
Lease time
The lifetime of IPv6 addresses provided to clients. The field is
available for editing if the Static value is selected from the Mode
of local IPv6 address assignment list in the Local IPv6
Address section.
When all needed settings are configured, click the APPLY button.
